Overview
You may be wondering how to handle products that are no longer in use or were set up incorrectly. Which products can be deleted, and which can only be archived? This article will clarify the differences between these actions and guide you through the process of archiving products.
Archive Products
Step 1: Go to [Publish] > [Sales Calendar] and switch off the product you want to archive.
Note: Your product’s Sales Option must be switched off first before it can be archived.
Step 2: Go to [Product] > [Product List] and click [Batch Edit]. Then, click the [Archive] option.
Step 3: Click the checkbox for the product(s) you want to archive (can only select products that are Discontinued). Then, click [Archive] (red button on the lower right).
Finally, a pop-out window will appear asking you to confirm that you want to archive your product(s). Click [OK].
Delete Products
Products that can be deleted are those that have not been fully set up. In other words, products that do not have pricing and sessions bound together. The product status should be marked as “In Progress”.
Step 1: Go to [Product] > [Product List] > click [Batch Edit]. Then select [Delete] > select product on the check box in front > click [Delete]
Note: Please be aware that once a product is deleted, it cannot be recovered. Therefore, ensure that you carefully select the correct product before proceeding with deletion.
