Overview

This guide is intended to provide basic instructions on how to set up ticket validity rules.

Let’s start by going to the rezio admin to set up new products!

  • Add Product

  1. Open the Menu on the left sidebar. Then, click Add Product, or click + Add if you’re on the Product List. 
  2. If the product is categorized as Tickets, go to settings in Sales Options. 
  • Ticket Validity

You can choose the validity type according to the ticket requirements

This includes

  • Ticket is valid and must be exchanged only on the booked date: The ticket is only limited to be used on the client booking date. For example, on 2021-04-18, a client books tickets for 5/1 (May 1), so the ticket can only be used on 5/1.
  • Ticket is valid until a specified date: For example, on 4/18, a client books tickets that are valid until 5/1. In this case, the tickets will be valid from 4/18 to 5/1.
  • Ticket is valid within a specific date range: The ticket is only limited to the date range you set. For example, if the date range goes by 2022-05-01 to 2022-05-31, and the client purchases a ticket on 2022-04-18, then tickets will be valid from 2022-05-01 to 2022-05-31.
    • For example, on 4/18, a client books tickets for the date 5/15. These tickets are valid from 5/1 to 5/31, so the ticket can be used any time between 5/1 and 5/31.

    • You may set up a date range as below:

  • Ticket is valid for a period of time after purchaseIf the period is set to 3 days and a client books the tickets on 4/18, then the tickets are valid from 4/18 to 4/21.


  • Redemption Before Session 

If you select Ticket Validity as Ticket is valid and must be exchanged only on the booked date or Ticket is valid within a specific date range, you may also turn on Allow ticket for use before the session.

  1. If selecting Allow, you can also set up a time duration. E.g. If you set it as 10 minutes, and the purchased session time is 14:00, they are allowed to enter at 13:50.



  • Allow redemption of expired tickets

You can decide whether you want to allow the use of tickets even after the expiration date has passed. In order to do so, select the Redemption Before Session as Allowed, and clients will be able to redeem vouchers even if the expiration date is displayed.


When you’ve finished adjusting your ticket settings, remember to click Add and Save.
